Crotona Achievement Center seeks dedicated volunteers who are able to play a responsible role in the character formation of young people. Summer Volunteers:

Unfortunately, the summer 2020 volunteer program has been cancelled.

For questions, you may email pedro.caranti@sbef.org.

Summer volunteers lead a group of boys through their daily activities and speak regularly with individual students to help them in their struggle to grow in virtue.

The summer program takes place for 5 weeks from early July to early August, preceded by a one-week intensive training period

The benefits include:

  • Room and board at the Overlook Study Center for the duration of the six-week program. Spiritual activities of Overlook are entrusted to Opus Dei, a personal prelature of the Catholic Church.

  • Weekend excursions to visit sites around New York City, hikes, and an overnight trip to the Pocono Mountains.

  • The opportunity to make an impact in a boy’s life.
