Registration for Rosedale's Summer Programs is Open

Since 1997, the Rosedale Center has expanded its tutoring, mentoring and character development programs to include a four-week Summer Program for girls in the Bronx.

All programs instill a sense of personal worth by developing students’ talents, character, and spirit of service, and by strengthening academic skills and work habits.

This year Rosedale has organized four programs according to the girls' ages. With classes from Monday to Thursday and field trips on Fridays, the students will have the opportunity to learn, share and have fun at the same time in the same place.

This year we incorporated the Pre – Job Training Program for 10th grade students. It combines individual mentoring with classes in the afternoon and office skills with on-the-job training though volunteering in the morning.

The Job-Training Program for 11th and 12th grade girls includes work placement in a paid internship.  In the past, Rosedale job trainees have worked in companies such as: The Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum, the World Youth Alliance, Mediterranean Shipping, the New York Public Library and many other smaller companies in the Manhattan and Westchester area.

Our partners have always had positive experiences with our students and our students always leave feeling more informed and more prepared for the road that lies ahead.
