Tutoring and Mentoring
- Tutor 4th - 12th graders after
school once a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays
(Saturdays are available for professionals)
- Teach Regents review or SAT prep classes
for small groups of high school
girls (schedule is flexible)
- Assist with cooking classes or
other activities on Saturday mornings with 4th - 8th graders
Teachers/Trainers
- Professional teachers,
especially those with specializations in language arts instruction, are needed as advisors for tutoring sessions.
- Teach business
communication, resume writing, computers, or professional ethics to high school
students or parents. Professional certification is not necessary but applicants
should have college education and work experience.
Administrative/PR
- The Rosedale office always needs volunteers for a wide variety of functions needed to
ensure the smooth running of programs and continued development of the center.
