One-on-One Tutoring Program

This program pairs volunteers from Fordham University, NYU, Lehman College, Columbia University, and young professional volunteers with a student in grades 4 to 12.  The pair generally stays together throughout the academic year, allowing the tutor to monitor her academic progress and to tailor the tutoring sessions to her needs.  Tutors are encouraged to befriend their student and to get to know her family as well.
